The fire did not result in any injuries to any of the people there.
The audience can be heard gasping after the dragon releases a big burst of fire at one point during the show. Following this, cast members working for Disney shout for everyone to "clear the area."
According to a statement released by Disney, park guests were instructed to leave several neighboring attractions because of the heavy smoke.
It went on to say that the reason for the fire is still being investigated, and that "out of an abundance of caution," identical fire effects will be turned off at all of the company's theme parks located in different parts of the world for the time being.
In 2018, while Maleficent was seated on a float during a procession at Disney World in Florida, her head caught fire. Maleficent has a history of behaving badly. This is not the first time that she has acted in an unacceptable manner.
Maleficent, who takes the guise of a dragon in order to fight Prince Phillip, serves as the primary antagonist in the Disney picture Sleeping Beauty, which was released in 1959. The character of Maleficent is referred to in the movie as "the mistress of all evil."
Angelina Jolie took over the role of the character when it was adapted into a live-action movie and released in 2014.
